Plumbing rough in

I just got done with the rough plumbing here at my addition.  I have been spending hours and days for the past few years watching plumbing videos, reading books and researching plumbing.  I consulted with a licensed plumber before I began.  He gave me a good idea on the DWV sizing and routing and water supply system.  I used ABS on the DWV system since it is what I am familiar with.  I spent extra money and went with the PEX expansion ring system.  I bought the Milwaukee expander and I love the system.

I had the same plumber out after I finished the project and he said I should be proud of my work.  There were a few things he saw that I recommended I fix but nothing too major.  What would have taken a real plumber 3 days took me about 3 months.  I was working on it off and on after work and on weekends.  I just went slow and thought everything out.  I had didn't run into many problems having to re-do my work.  I really enjoyed doing the rough pluming in my addition.  It passed the pressure test and I am glad I spent extra money on the expansion ring system.

Little house in the prairie.

There is a local farmer out here who hired me to frame his house.  After I framed it he wanted me to shingle it.

I started in Mid August 2020 and finished shingling in Mid Jan 2021.  I had very little help.  The only way I could do this almost all by myself is because he had a man-lift that he let me use.

 2020

We left to AZ back in 2019.  We came back in March 2020 and I have been going like a mad man ever since.  I got the addition framed and the exterior done.  Then I got hired to frame a guys house here in Simla.  Below are the pictures.

I tore off the old roof and put up new rafters.

Here is how the addition turned out.  I framed it all myself, installed the windows.  Shingled it, and painted it.  I had to make my own wood scaffolding because the addition in the back is 2 story.
