I made this bed for my room since I got rid of the
bunk bed I built years ago. My brother Chip moved out so I had no need of a bunk bed anymore. I don't need a dressor since I have enough storage in the 8 drawers under the mattress. Because of the tall platform and the railing in the head piece and foot piece the bed is extremely stable. Even if I gained 600 lbs I don't think the bed would ever fall apart.
